"Alice has not returned yet" a play on Alice through the looking glass and my desire for this particular bronze Alice to leave her mantelpiece and cool off in the waters of Cheddar Gorge, Somerset (from one Somerset girl to another!)

 

She gets her title, as always, from an old postcard (shown below)
